At this point, anyone with the "balls" to wear a Trump hat into a Mexican restaurant deserves every twinge of gut-wrenching diarrhea he gets.

The new AI automix feature in iOS 26 Music is pretty legit overall. It has made some seamless mixes across genres that have blown my mind.

I fell in love with Arc right away. But there was one thing that quickly took it out of my daily routine: lack of direct TouchID integration on Mac. Sometimes I could use it, but usually I had to scan a QR code to log into a service, and that’s too disruptive when it happens 10-20x per day.
Only just now seeing the news about Arc. That’s a real shame. I liked how they were trying to do something a bit different.

“Impossibly wet sounding mouths” is both something that makes my skin crawl and a phrase that I will want to use at some point in the future.
Aldrich was shortly joined by an amorous couple with impossibly wet-sounding mouths, a baby in the throes of demonic possession and a man shouting into his phone that he was “in the quiet carriage, yeah, I’ll call you back, cos I’m just in the quiet carriage – no, THE QUIET CARRIAGE!”
Autistic woman deceived by false promise of quiet train carriage

Seriously, these dumbasses are shaving their eyelashes, refusing to wipe their asses, afraid of crossing their legs or using straws in public, and we’re all “how have we failed young white men?” We failed them by not demanding they grow the fuck up.

Recently I learned that Sir Mix-A-Lot was/is into CB. I heard someone on CB use the term "cotton picker" which made me think of the song Buttermilk Biscuits. Of course, I'm now listening to Swass and it is chock full of CB slang.

I don’t think it’s a particularly hot take to say the person who posted a timelapse of themself playing GTA V on the interstate in their Cybertruck should be in prison

This afternoon was bittersweet. I put my Scout uniforms back into the back of the closet with Robin's weeding dress. You know... closet deep storage.
I don't know that I'll *never* wear one again, but I'm enjoying concentrating on other things for a while.

I just realized that all this fiddling with learning the art of AI prompting that I've been doing has made me MUCH better at clear communication and asking specifically for what I want.
I just admired the best Slack DM I've ever written, and I didn't even try to do a good job!

I realized tonight I can't make fun of emergency weather ham radio operators anymore when I'm clearly just as invested in their world. Tonight's storm cleared some cognitive static, and something shifted in me—a signal finally received after years of atmospheric bounce. #HamRadio #StormSpotting

Storms are rolling through Kansas City right now. I've got my scanner on, listening to the emergency weather nets.
I have always thought check-in nets sounded so dorky, but now I understand why they do it. It's to be able to recognize people by voice so folks don't have to say so much.

I’ll call this the little book that started my career. Before this, I’d spent the last nine years making website either purely from Flash or Photoshop slices. All while actually working as an Avid editor and After Effects animator.
Being bad with calendars, I forgot that last Wednesday was the 22nd anniversary of #DesigningWithWebStandards 1st Edition—the Little Book That Could.™
