Buddy, hope left the building, went to lunch, had 4 margaritas and a bloody mary, got into a fight with the server, was tossed through a window, severed an artery, had its leg amputated, spent three nights in ICU, got divorced, defaulted on the mortgage, and is living in a van down by the river
Asked about the possibility of impeachment, Schumer says "we hope that we can have support from our Republican colleagues to put a brake on this long before it gets that far"

greatest robot debut since the dancing tesla

hat tip @niedermeyer.online
Joke of the day from Moscow: Russia tried to unveil its first humanoid AI robot, Aidol. Key word: tried. The robot collapsed during its debut, forcing organizers to cut the presentation short. Their rushed attempt to lift the prop only made things worse.

Oof. The Dems need to stop pretending, based on some imaginary focus group, that there’s some common ground with Trump. The key is to fight everywhere.

You should go study Neville Chamberlain’s attempt at “common ground.” It didn’t end well for his historical reputation. Or the world.
Hakeem Jeffries: "Donald Trump promised that he would lower housing costs on day one. Here's a suggestion for the Trump administration: try to legislate, and maybe we can find common ground in order to get something done for the American people."

In this extremely dark timeline, I came across this clip of Benny Andersson teaching his ABBA bandmates the melody to “Dancing Queen” — and I’m running with it.

It’s pretty wild that Trump’s base is turning on him because of all the Epstein stuff now. We’ve known he’s a predator for years. There’s a major news story every 6 months about it. It’s like turning on snoop dogg because you JUST found out he smokes weed.

Do you have any idea how many children are in America, the liberal media never highlights all the ones who don’t die
Cornyn highlights the people who didn't die in the Texas floods: "It's a very sad time, but it's also a time when 850+ campers were accounted for and recovered ... this was a 100 year flood event ... it's just a time of very many conflicting feelings."

Remember when @schumer.senate.gov capitulated on the govt shutdown and said they would save their fight for now? The BBB just passed so there is no way to fight. The Dems won’t have an opportunity to stop anything from the GOP for a year

Why do all of my coworkers keep complaining to HR when I sing Easy Lover in the hallway, is it hatred of "AARON"? They don't even acknowledge how I hit all of the "high notes" just like Philip Bailey, sad! Some real "sleazebags" in this company who are jealous of my air drums in the pre-chorus

Let’s face it, Schumer has been terrible even before this. It is time for new leadership. He isn’t the person for this moment in history, and the longer he clings to power the worse off we all are.
