I like that iPhone song, but love all their stuff

I will add That DC has not allowed real trademarked items in the comics, which was frustrating, but gave readers “soder” cola, “Koul-brau beer” “Jitters Coffee,” and “Big Belly Burgers”

Thanks to you both. I moved East in early 1987, and the trash bags on the sidewalk as well as loose trash hit me right away. So it felt like important “set dressing”
Byrne did this before me, though!

This isn’t just ridiculous, it’s racist. Quit the outside agitator myth & let people express their discontent with the government how they want.

It takes one google search to find everything you need about this awful and dangerous trope.

Outside agitator
Outside agitator is a term that has been used to discount political unrest as being driven by outsiders, rather than by internal discontent.

Saw “one Battle After Another” at the last imax showing before new stuff pushes it into smaller houses. Really enjoyed it, great performances all around. Go see it on a big screen if you can! Sean Penn is really terrific as is newcomer Chase Infiniti.

A pair of #art #commission s during and after Terrificon, the stars of Chicken Run dressed as the stars of Enchanted! Ginger was inked with my usual selection of convention marker pens, but I tried inking Rocky with a G nib and had a lot of fun!

A photo of a black-and-white cartoony art piece. Chicken character Ginger from the movie Chicken Run is dressed as Giselle from the movie Enchanted, with a poofy layered ballgown, tiara, and piled-up curly hair. She looks nervous and has the skirts clutched in her hands as she runs. A black-and-white cartoony art piece. Rocky the rooster character from the movie Chicken Run is dressed as Prince Edward from the movie Enchanted, with poofy sleeves, decorated leather boots and gloves, and a cape, holding a fencing sword with a curly decorative hilt. He's posed in a fencing style lunge, thrusting the sword towards the viewer with a confident expression.

Years ago I gave up on inking with nibs because I was constantly smearing the ink, but it's amazing what a difference just changing your materials can make. I switched from Yasutomo Sumi ink to Dr. Martin's Bombay Black india ink (on Strathmore 300 Bristol), which dried SUPER fast on the paper

A photo of an art print over a bush with red flowers. The print is a brightly-colored cartoony illustration of Ranma 1/2. Masculine-form Ranma and Akane are in the center, looking as if they've been thrown together, Ranma's arms not quite around Akane, Akane's hands not quite on Ranma's chest. They're both looking over their shoulders nervously. Surrounding them in a heart-shaped arrangement are their various rivals and suitors. Kuno smoothes back his hair and holds a bouquet of roses, smirking down at Akane. Ryoga giggles, grinning nervously at Akane with wide-eyed delight. Mousse grimaces at Ranma, clutching a set of sharp knives between the fingers of one hand, ready to pounce in attack. Gosunkugi grins up at Akane from the grount, pointing a camera at her. Shampoo has leapt into the air above Ranma, smiling cheerfully, arms outstretched for a hug. Ukyo gazes excitedly up at Ranma, offering him an okonomiyaki. Kodachi smirks mischievously, flicking her gymnastics ribbon, which whirls around to surround the whole group in a heart shape. A photo of an art print held up in front of the closed chrome doors of a New York subway car. The print is a brightly colored cartoonish illustration. The setting is a New York subway car. It's packed with people of various ages, sizes, races, and genders, all congregated in small groups, smiling and chatting amiably with each other. No one pays any attention to the unconvincingly disguised alien (wearing flamboyantly odd clothing and a pair of novelty glasses with fake eyebrows, nose, and mustache) who has just stepped into the car, gazing with a blank or slightly forlorn expression at the masses of happy people. Farcical advertisements fill the background of the subway car, such as an ad for a diamond ring reading "Love: If you've got it, flaunt it," another ad reading "Don't be alone: Condos starting at $10,000,000," and another showing a confident man in sunglasses with the tagline "Normal."
