One day i was feeling incredibly brave and also incredibly stupid and tried Petit Provence’s biscuits and gravy and let me tell you — WHEW

It was like eating a wet kitchen sponge. Including the scrubby but layer.

Not sure i’d recommend a hachiya, which is what i have, they tend to ripen too late (as mentioned) - something that ripens earlier might do better.
