Earlier this year, Dr. Jane Goodall sat down for an interview for Brad Falchuk’s new Netflix series, Famous Last Words.

The premise of the series is to interview people on the condition that the interview not air until the subject has passed away.

I can't thank enough all the animators on this project for bringing my little dog to life. A lot of indie animators whose work I follow and love a whole lot too! I knew what was coming, but the final product is still leaving me speechless. Thank you to all who worked on this! YOURE THE BEST

Like a lot of people living in London and the wider UK, *I* am an economic migrant. There are opportunities for me here that there weren't back in South Africa (a country I love which has one of the most progressive constitutions on earth - and also some major socio-economic problems).

The entire point of writing is discovery. You don’t know what you don’t know. And if you approach it from a point of view of efficiency and optimization (to no end) you never will.

My 24-hour-comic zine THE VINEGAR MOTHER was recently nominated for a @ginco.bsky.social Award here in Germany!
It's existed exclusively as a riso printed zine at cons for the last year, but with the nomination I thought I'd finally share it online.
It's a weird little comic/zine to explain... (1/4)

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

The blood moon was lovely but seeing it come out of the shadow going through all the phases within an hour was equally amazing

A couple more bookmarks! 🌅☕
Two bookmarks:
A grey rabbit reading a book in bed under a quilted blanket as the sun rises out a window behind them. They looked shocked, and are almost at the end of their book. Text below reads: "I messed up!!! (again)"

A tired white cat reading on their phone in bed under a star patterned quilt. Their phone brightness is creating a huge yellow beam of light. At the top is "4:00" in red like a digital clock. Small orange text in the beam of light behind the cat says "oh no".

Day 9: Reading. Taking a quick detour to work on some bookmarks for Illo Mart next month! If I ever stop accidentally reading until the sun rises, I won't know who I am anymore.

Two bookmarks:
A yellow lab smiling with a 'no thoughts' expression, with an open book on a desk. The background is red-orange, the desk in blue, and there are some pale yellow action lines above the dog. Black serif text below says: "I can't stop reading! HELP!!"

A black and brown rough collie napping with their long nose in an open book on a brown desk. The bg is light blue. Black text below reads: "ZZZ Just resting my eyes..."

Japan makes so many good films, and sadly most of the live action ones are completely non-viable in the English market. Which means that this platform is absolutely priceless.

Thanks for sharing. These subtleties make language learning fun for me too. Interesting little shifts in meaning, context, etc.
