The conditions are catastrophic: tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands of Palestinian lives taken, families erased, survivors concentrated in camps, mass starvation inflicted, homes reduced to rubble, the systems that sustain life, education, healthcare, water, & shelter, systematically annihilated.

Of course it is proper to be disappointed and upset when a leader who is relatively ideologically close to you takes an adverse action on something you care about.

But if most of your energy goes to slamming a leader who’s in the 95th percentile on your issue, you are failing in your mission.

Something I have seen in (some) Jewish anti-Zionist spaces is this bizarre inability to take a win and a commitment to shaming and punishing people for realizing “too late” that Palestinians deserve safety and freedom.

If someone needs to do tshuva for not realizing things sooner, that’s ON THEM.

Holy hell. DHS just openly stated that its agents use “reasonable suspicion” to make ARRESTS. This is blatantly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is clear that you need probable cause to arrest someone, as opposed to stop them to ask them a question or two. This is huge b/c…
