I understand those who need faith in some "god" in order to make sense of life and some of its mysteries, but I DO NOT believe in god, not just because there isn't one, but mostly because if there's one, I would be wary about worshipping a god who's fine with the livestreamed genocide of children.

As someone who works at a nonprofit organisation that provides care (and other resources) for adopted children (many of whom were stolen/kidnapped from Global South countries and nonwestern cultures), almost every case of white people adopting nonwhite kids, comes from a place of white supremacy.
Speaking of #Greenland and #adoption never forget when Denmark kidnapped 22 inuit children and sent them to Denmark in order to make them "cultured" and Danish, so they could go back and modernise Greenland. 🥚

As someone who works at a nonprofit organisation that provides care (and other resources) for adopted children (many of whom were stolen/kidnapped from Global South countries and nonwestern cultures), almost every case of white people adopting nonwhite kids, comes from a place of white supremacy.

"Reducing the political power of law enforcement" isn't how you solve the police issue. You've gotta TOTALLY abolish the police, and then in their place, set up something that actually serves the people. As an African, I don't celebrate "independence day" because when I look around Africa, I see no independence. The so-called "independence" was basically western imperialists handing power over to the local capitalist ruling classes, so both parties can continue exploiting working class Africans.

By dismantling capitalism, we (Socialists and Communists) aren't trying to end trade, but to end a system that prioritises profit over people. We want to reclaim the ability to produce what we need and trade freely, not as dictated by a billionaire's bottom line. That's the real COMMUNIST goal.

Abolishing capitalism doesn't mean abolishing trade. It means abolishing a system where a small white capitalist class owns everything and decides everything based on their addiction to money. We can imagine a society where trade and exchange serve human needs and foster real connection again.

Working class Americans can't even get their leaders to do what they want, but they will tell you that they're "freer" than working class people in Cuba, China, DPRK, etc., where there's actual grassroots democracy, and basic human rights (housing, healthcare, etc) are all free and/or guaranteed.
