At least he had the decency - finally - to show some principles. There are 17 remaining Conservatives in West Northamptonshire and I am shocked that not one of them has expressed their concerns about the Conservative direction of travel towards the Reform tribute act.

1. The Liberal Democrats now control more councils than the Conservative Party

2. In May's local elections in England, the LDs elected more councillors than either Labour or the Tories.

Well done to the Friends of Brixworth Church on hosting their Heritage Day. The beauty and multilayered history of Brixworth Church never ceases to amaze, with its origins in 680AD and the use of reclaimed Roman tiles as part of its structure. A parish church with an origin story as a monastery.
