I think people who narrow their focus solely to dinosaurs and neglect other aspects cannot be good paleoartists.

Geology & Botany are sorely overlooked in the paleo community, its really sad, because the botany of an area and its geology are both necessary for understanding the context in which animals would have lived. Having a bunch of isolated individuals means nothing without knowledge of where they lived.
