BlueSky is built by default to be monolingual. And its traffic (over 50%) is dominated by English-speaking 🇺🇸 users. It's pretty dry outside that (really loud and self-absorbed) sphere. I've never been to the US.

A couple years back I did a trio of Enantiornithes illustrations for wikipedia/free use. Enantiornithes are underappreciated & wikipedia has too few of them illustrated, making it harder for people's imaginations to be sparked by how unusual they are! Here's the first - Lectavis bretincola 🎨🐡🦉🧪

어룡 전문가 크리스토퍼 맥고원 교수님의 <Dinosaurs, Spitfires and Sea Dragons>의 한국어판. 지금 보면 정말 깊이가 있는 책. 다시 읽어보니 매우 재밌지만, 확실히 중학교 학교 도서실과는 그리 어울리지 않는 책이었다고 생각한다. 14년 전에는 무슨 말인지 이해조차 안 되었으니.

어룡 전문가 크리스토퍼 맥고원 교수님의 <Dinosaurs, Spitfires and Sea Dragons>의 한국어판. 지금 보면 정말 깊이가 있는 책. 다시 읽어보니 매우 재밌지만, 확실히 중학교 학교 도서실과는 그리 어울리지 않는 책이었다고 생각한다. 14년 전에는 무슨 말인지 이해조차 안 되었으니.

a REALLY cool paper was just posted that describes a new lagertätte from La Rioja Provence, Argentina: A extremophile microorganism site with 3d arthropod bits and plants in a Geothermal field. This site also produces large vertebrate material and sauropod nests. www.frontiersin.org/journals/eco...

후쿠이현립공룡박물관 기념품점에서 샀던 선물용 프라노사우루스 티라노사우루스 한정판. 박물관의 티라노사우루스 로봇 배색을 그대로 반영했다. 지금이야 하나 더 살걸 하고 후회하고 있지만, 그 당시엔 쇼핑에 쓴 기념품 총액이 한화로 50만원 가까이 되었으니 공간부터 걱정해야 했다.

후쿠이현립공룡박물관 기념품점에서 샀던 선물용 프라노사우루스 티라노사우루스 한정판. 박물관의 티라노사우루스 로봇 배색을 그대로 반영했다. 지금이야 하나 더 살걸 하고 후회하고 있지만, 그 당시엔 쇼핑에 쓴 기념품 총액이 한화로 50만원 가까이 되었으니 공간부터 걱정해야 했다.
