Just had first hand experience with my dad. Something needs sorting between care and hospitals. Dad spent week+ in hospital despite being ready to go after 24 hours. He is now home, but care is still over a week away(for now my 84 year old mum and me and my siblings are providing most of the care).
From the NHS to local government, a failure to #FixSocialCare is breaking everything else across public services. We need action.
Shaken to my core by this. Who’d ever have guessed that a) this was a problem and b) that it costs a lot of revenue spend to fix? No one can claim this wasn’t obvious before the GE www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
