I love my dog. Her name is Nema. I didn't give her this name; Her first owner did before giving her up to the Humaine Society. I'm not her owner. I am her dad, and she is not my pet, she is my savior. She smiles at me and I forget for a moment the life I once led. One look at her and love is reborn.
