I think solidarity is always a good thing BUT I’m finding it really difficult to stomach seeing so many people spreading American product lists to boycott who didn’t give a shit about the genocide in Palestine or practicing BDS in solidarity with the Palestinian people

More seriously though, it’s striking how quickly those in power admit we can interfere with markets and divert supply chains at the stroke of a pen after they’ve spent years insisting they’re powerless to do so in order to pull people out of poverty, fight climate change or protect ecosystems.
