I got heavy into rollerderby and played at the European championships, I found a job I love, and I met a whole bunch of incredible people who have opened my eyes to new experiences and done wonders for my social anxiety. Also I got to see all the TJ Mack stuff happen in real time.

I think the hardest decision we made was to replace the swamp in Lost Izalith. That was particularly close to Mr Miyazaki's heart. He said "make it a lava level," and he was pacing back and forth, "make it a lava level and burn their fucking eyes out."

Driving on the motorway the other day I saw a flag on an overhead bridge, writing in each quadrant, fluttering so all I could make out was "not racist", literally the "raising a lot of questions already answered by" bit in real life

Just remembered my highlight of Glesgames: playing Micro Machines with Steph, a nostalgia trip for her, when her speedboat hit a whirlpool and her reminiscences and laughter abruptly stopped as she politely but firmly exclaimed "FUCKING HELL" to which I immediately replied "aww I'm telling your mum"
