Can’t decide what to buy on Prime Day?

Try: absolutely nothing, and then go support indie bookstores instead 📚

Well, today @deldeib.bsky.social has a very helpful explainer. Here's what an external review is, how it works, and how you can use it to help to get coverage of your own medical care: "Appeal, appeal, appeal, appeal... That’s all you have." www.propublica.org/article/heal...

I don't understand or like LinkedIn. I just got a message, allegedly from the editor in chief of a student newspaper, that said, "Hello my name of ◼️◼️◼️◼️. You don't hi?" No, I don't hi.

What am I supposed to do with old business cards? I am an immigrant's kid, I catastrophize everything and I think business cards felt like some kind of talisman against ruin: I have a JOB. Now I'm middle aged, no one uses business cards anymore, and I can't keep schlepping them from city to city.

You ever have days where it's like: I have always been on the phone. I was born on the phone. I will die on the phone. I have never not been on the phone.

An ICE agent threw a mom to the ground.

You know how she can file a complaint with DHS?

SHE CAN'T. Trump closed that office.

www.propublica.org/article/home...
On March 21, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem shut down the office and fired most of the 150-person staff. As a result, about 600 civil rights abuse investigations were frozen.

“All the oversight in DHS was eliminated today,” one worker texted after the announcement that they’d been fired.

It's a journalist's job to ask questions of government officials, no matter which party is in power. That often means respectfully knocking on doors to get answers people deserve to know.

Tips and evidence are essential to our nonpartisan work: www.propublica.org/tips/
Screenshot of post on X from VA Secretary Doug Collins. The text reads: @ProPublica is an extreme liberal news outlet that will do anything to make the Trump Administration look bad. But this week, the far-left editors there reached a new low by sending @VernalColeman to stalk @DeptVetAffairs employees at their homes. This creepy behavior will discourage good people from coming to work at VA. @ProPublica, please do better and stop letting your hatred of the Trump Administration continue to warp your judgment.

Federal judge tosses Trump's lawsuit against the @nytimes.com, less than four days after it was filed. The ruling calls the lawsuit "improper and impermissible." Trump is allowed to refile a new, shorter complaint if he wants.
