Last night, Capitol Police arrested roughly 60 veterans and their family members outside the U.S. Capitol. The group had gathered to hold a peaceful sit-in on the Capitol steps, but police intentionally set up a barrier of bike racks to prevent them from demonstrating.

I was proud to be present for this vets courage. Amazing.
Just want to take a moment to shout out the international reporters helping us get the real story out. When an 80-year-old veteran with a walker is hauled off with his hands zip-tied behind his back, and the media spins it as a “threatening breach” of a police barricade

There certainly is inequality in humanity along race and gender lines, but the largest and most impactful that intersects everything is class inequality. It's a class "war." Democrats must be a proactive party for the working class or it will lose again and again.

I just engaged with a person on the internet that said if God told folks to kill people for land, and kill children, that it’s 👌. And that it’s “basic Christian doctrine.” This is the kind of theology that justifies atrocities of all kinds. It’s why I’m in seminary.
