That said, I voted to table the motion to impeach because there is no viable path to impeachment at this time. Impeachment is one of the most serious actions Congress can take, and it shouldn’t be used as a symbolic gesture or partisan spectacle. [2/2]

Today, I voted to table an impeachment resolution. I will always be straight with you, so let me explain.

My position on the strikes in Iran has been clear. My constituents, regardless of party, do not want to send their children or their tax dollars to another forever war in the Middle East. [1/2]

Under the Senate’s budget bill, 16 million people would lose their health insurance and health care costs could increase by $485 a year for everyone else.

Working people need their health insurance more than billionaires need another tax cut.

We've said for months, this bill was blatantly cruel & could not stand. Now, it is also LITERALLY unconstitutional.

Do not stop speaking up, do not stop raising your voices, & do not let the pressure up.

Tell everyone: this bill isn't just bad, it's illegal.

President Trump's unilateral decision to strike Iran is blatantly unconstitutional.

There's a reason why the Founders only gave Congress the power to declare war. The American people deserve a say in whether or not their children get sent into another foreign war.

I’ve seen firsthand how SNAP food assistance helps families survive, live with dignity, and move forward. While Congressional Republicans and President Trump boast about cutting SNAP, let’s remember it’s not about reducing bureaucracy - that’s about letting people go hungry.

Republicans have proposed cutting the healthcare of 72 million Americans by as much as $880 BILLION

Why

Because they want to give more tax cuts to the ultra wealthy

Think of it

They’re willing to let people die

So they can give their rich friends-like Elon-tax breaks

Don’t

One of the people fired from NOAA today is the director of the Ocean Acidification Program. That program also leads the U.S. government's effort on marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR). The destruction of American science is incomprehensible.
