Trying to figure out how to make a “Top Ten Horror Movies“ list, if there are some that were so disturbing you’d never want to see them again, and some you genuinely liked? Same list? 😆

What is that wispy cloud in the back?

I’m playing catch-up with the ones I painted last year. Just doing little 5x7’s, so there hasn’t been a “group shot”. I painted Sweetums as a Ghostbuster last year. Hadn’t really considered doing a Stay Puft!

Pepé as a #Ghostbuster. Who’s next? Janice as Janine?
A watercolour of Pepé the Prawn, dressed as a Ghostbuster. His mouth is open, he appears startled and is looking up while blasting an unseen ghost up above.

The illustrated book cover is for the autobiographical graphic memoir from Veronica Post, Let The Good Times Roll. The black and white illustrated cover depicts two people moving together. The person on the left is a white man in a wheelchair wearing glasses and a vest. The person to the right is a white woman wearing a baseball hat and glasses, carrying a tote bag. Both people are looking fondly at one another as they move forward. The photograph to the right of the book cover depicts a white woman with short brown hair who is looking at the viewer with a slight smile.

My husband has it on blu-ray. We met when he was in film school and let’s just say he could open his own rental store if he felt inclined 😆

Ha! My husband was like, “well, now you have to paint a Killbot!” 😆
(I’ll have to tell him that it was the same mall from those other flicks!)
jodyvanb.bsky.social
It really is! Made me nostalgic for my old mall. 😆

I just watched “Chopping Mall” for the first time. Not what I expected. Certainly thought there was going to be an axe in there, or, you know, some ”chopping” happening. Did follow the old horror movie rules of sex=death, though!

These are shockingly purple! I can’t believe they’re real. #PurpleBeautyBerry

this weekend someone told me they were working in media in L.A. and then they read The He-Man Effect and then they quit their job and decided to get a Ph. D in children's media. Any way it's still in print: us.macmillan.com/books/978125...

Hide the existence of your identical twin for decades so you can do a stage magic act in which it seems like you teleported.
