The official policy of the government of the United States of America is that they will murder anyone they want, that they will tell any lie necessary to justify that murder, and that no one who resists them has any rights they are bound to respect.

This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

Greenland PM Jens-Frederik Nielsen:

"If we have to choose between the US & Denmark here and now, we choose Denmark. We choose NATO. We choose the Kingdom of Denmark. We choose the EU."

"Greenland does not want to be owned by the US. Greenland does not want to be governed by the US" he later added.

I agree. Once we failed to act collectively on reducing fossil fuel use, faked recycling, and our reaction to COVID, I knew hope for positive change was gone.
Seeing people refuse to wear a mask at the height of COVID convinced me beyond a shadow of a doubt that there’s no stopping climate change. People would rather society fall apart than seriously consider reducing red meat consumption and other major life adjustments to reduce carbon emissions.
The devastation on its way is unimaginable - like nothing humanity has ever witnessed before - and everyone will wish they had been climate activists and ‘hysterics’ when they had the chance. We are in a moment of unprecedented stupidity

Very festive🎄

During spawning season, the fins and underside of male bowfin often change in color to a bright green - so it’s not surprising that one of the new proposed common names for Amia ocellicauda is “Emerald Bowfin” #25DaysofFishmas

An unfair bad rep: As an apex predator, bowfin help keep ecosystems balanced by preventing prey fish overpopulation. Despite looking similar to the invasive northern snakehead, bowfin are native to the #GreatLakes (and luckily, snakeheads haven’t been established in the lakes yet!) #25DaysofFishmas
