I hate this framing that they were hoodwinked and lied too... They had 4 years of Trump to reference and lifetime of quotes and actions to judge. Every person who voted for Trump in 2024 needs to spend a few years eating $#!& Before I give them the time of day much less ask for their support.
If you voted for Trump in 2024 and finally realize that he lied to get your vote and things aren't going well, it's okay to change your mind.
Write your representative in Congress and tell them how you want them to vote. Tell them how things are going. Tell them to hold Trump accountable.

One of the largest immigration detention centers on the west coast is located in Tacoma, Washington. It's a private prison run by GEO Group.
To my knowledge, the mayor of the city has never visited the prison to check on the facilities nor her constituents who are detained there.
