I had a great time speaking with Gianandrea Noseda about Mahler and Beethoven this week at Apple Classical! His new recording of Mahler 7 with the NSO is out now and definitely worth several listens. #todayatapple

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

genocide streamed to our phones daily for years now, and we could have stopped it at any moment.

This video of Chicagoans intervening to save a man from being abducted off the streets by ICE is making the rounds on Instagram.

Community action works.

Every day I'm reminded that fascism can't create art.

It destroys or appropriates it.

BREAKING: Our client Mario Guevara, an Emmy-winning journalist detained by ICE in retaliation for livestreaming law enforcement activity, will be deported tomorrow to El Salvador.

Mario and his family are being punished for his reporting. This cruelty is meant to stifle our free press.

The newest episode of Classical Breakdown is on Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony, Eroica!

It remains one of my favorites from him, the second movement is just out of this world. Let me know if you have a favorite moment 🎶💜 #wetaclassical

huh? like the food? how does that make sense at all? one of the fascinating and depressing things is reading how militaries over the millennia dealt with food, a pretty critical thing…

UPDATE: Mikeno has stopped contact and is assumed intercepted by Israel. Not a single delivery of baby formula will reach the shores of Gaza to try and save a single child's life.

I can’t believe I’m watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

I know we are “used to it” but it is absolutely insane

This is pseudoscience. They are mandating the teaching of pseudoscience.

Might as well force faculty to teach that like 443 megahertz is a healihg frequency or the earth is flat or whatever.

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)
