How can I get a job in thought leadership?
Seriously, what does that even mean? Give me some examples. People who write the op-eds at the NYT/WaPo?

I try not to make fun of people for their appearance, but he is dressing like that on purpose. It's a choice.

If a single Supreme Court Justice denies an administrative stay application, the losing party may renew their request to another Justice.
Basically, the stay was getting issued tonight. Jackson issued it on her terms instead of Alito's.

I am not a lawyer, but I am used to reading stories where the appellate court issues a stay on the lower court's order so they can deliberate. I wonder why there has been no stay. I think this is at the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, and I am not enough of a courts nerd to know if they are friendly.

Thanks, kind of confirms what I thought I understood. The thing that puzzles me is that there is no stay of the district court's order from the appellate court. Don't they usually issue a stay when they receive an appeal?

I think there was probably some of that; the less visible executive-branch departments likely still have some of the old career bureaucrats who took the job to serve the public. I just want to know the mechanics of why the appeal didn't slow the decision down.

They fired 4 people who protested to Conde Nast HR about the purges at Teen Vogue, including Jake Lahut, the reporter who broke the Nancy Mace airport meltdown story.

New: Conde Nast fired four employees who were among a group that confronted the company's head of human resources on Wednesday over the decision to fold Teen Vogue into Vogue/recent cuts. Employees who were fired included journalists from the New Yorker, Wired, and Bon Appétit.

I was gonna say this. Lots of extremely talented and experienced people from Teen Vogue and Wired, just to name the most recent. Probably get them at bargain rates if you act fast.
