My local federal MP sends out an appeal for a charity around this time each year.
Imagine being in government, spending all the money on submarines so there’s not enough to prevent poverty, then believing that asking for donations will make you look good?

$10,000 is pocket change to Trump & he knows it. Probably considers it money well spent. Ineffectual penalties clearly will not stop this.

I have, in fact, never wondered why Wikipedia wants so much money. It's one of the highest trafficked sites on the internet. The logistics of maintaining just the infrastructure must be very complicated. It also doesn't have ads.
