No but I'm not writing editorials or making broad statements about situations I don't understand to a large following who deserve critical thinking. If I were, I would be doing the bare fucking minimum to fix that gap in my knowledge. How is this hard to comprehend?

Does he ever bother to learn about the things he opines about? Because in this case it would appear he has no direct knowledge of what Gov Pritzker is actually capable of, nor of the legal intricacies that affect the scope of his power. Why would I trust his opinion on things he doesn't understand?

So what did the Governor's office have to say when you called them in the course of your reporting? Did they give you a statement? Have you contacted any experts during the course of your investigation? What did they have to say about the situation? You did do some basic legwork, right?

The United States is the oldest country with a constitution. Presidential immunity is a feature of SCOTUS, not the constitution. EOs are similarly unrelated. None of what's happening was inevitable, and certainly not the fault of the founding documents of this country. Get a grip.

These idiots seem to forget that any soldiers who saw action in WWII are like 95 at minimum and gave birth to the baby boomer generation. Irony didn't exist back then and when your grandpa said "we're coming to kick your ass, Hitler!" he had a reasonable expectation he would get to punch a fascist.

I follow her. I follow Dem politicians who constantly post about what they're doing. If she knew anything about government, she wouldn't post so confidently about things that aren't real. She's absolutely been posting about how silly No Kings rallys are. All of it adds up to a pretty clear picture.

Except she's not doing anything to fix her situation, she's not following Dem politicians to learn about what they're doing, she's not protesting the administration, she just has infinite time to shit on the people she's begging to save her through magical means she can't be bothered to understand.

Why would you excuse people who rage at a mechanic? Just because you can understand why someone would do something doesn't mean it should be allowable! "I don't understand something that scares me so I'll blame my fear on anyone trying to fix it" is a bad way to behave, actually.

Also the leak was caused by the landlord who is trying to destroy the pipes in the house, and refuses to let the plumber into the basement with all the levers of power, err, plumbing. She won't blame the landlord because the landlord will ignore her but the plumber hasn't fixed it yet, that slacker!

She grudgingly called a plumber to fix a problem she downplayed until it became serious, but refuses to learn what a plumber is capable of. The plumber's been working hard while she sits in the living room, ignoring the plumber and poasting. The leak still exists, so the plumber is stupid and lazy.

Her ignorance is wholly self-imposed. She could try to understand how the government works, she could investigate what Dem leaders are doing (that the news refuses to report), she could participate in local politics, she could protest. But that's all cringe lib shit, and slamming Dems is currency.

It was legitimately depressing, the guy wanted to explore and go do things with us, and he did do that from time to time when she would let him, but eventually we stopped asking if he wanted to join us for stuff because the answer was always "my wife won't go". We all met her, we knew why.
