I am every kind of nerd.
Playing around with creating PoCs with Claude code on my phone.

I've been doing an hour on an exercise bike a couple times a week, and wanted to see what I could do without a keyboard and monitor.

I like to follow comic book artists, and every now and then they follow me back. It's cool feeling connected to something I'm not a part of but get so much value from, and it's a small reminder of what social media is good for, in spite of all the noise online.

You don't need a bunch of podcasts to tell you how to be a man. Just watch Bullitt and get on with your life.
i wanna try something. quote this post if you’re a man who hates the manosphere

I know there are more important things happening in the world right now, but I would appreciate it if everyone could observe a moment of silence for the demolition of my childhood.

Genuinely heartbreaking reading these.

I can't lay claim to the title of "entrepreneur," but I've seen up close how hard it is to build your own business. It's not just a paycheck to these people. This is their American Dream and it's being stolen from them.
Reddit is flooded with small businesses owners getting crushed by tariffs — devastated by the thought of raising prices, firing workers, or closing up shop entirely.

This is why it's important, when competing for mindshare, to focus on telling your own story. Something you can consistently focus on regardless of the current headlines.

The success of Bernie Sanders rallies so far is proof that this works.
I think it's a mistake to focus on stock prices in this moment. As we've seen, stock prices can be manipulated, and don't represent the real economy. If the stock market were to reverse course are we going to start singing this administration praises?

Been following this for so long. I'm actually kind of emotional over this.

Entering a JSX terminal feels like a throwback. Like what boarding a plane is like in old movies.

Just got plunged into a deep well of nostalgia by this article.

My computer nerd uncle used to take to Virtual World in Pasadena when I was a kid. Sitting in one of those pods surrounded by glowing buttons is a core memory for me.
Incredibly advanced but notoriously finnicy to maintain, Virtual Worlds eschewed traditional VR headsets by putting players in a "monitor cell" to allow players multiple views of the action, providing international multiplayer at a time home consoles were still in the 8-bit era.
Battletech arcades were decades ahead of their time, holding global 3D matches before we'd even played a SNES - here's their story

Seems like a lot of people, including myself, are now learning about 18F and other obscure parts of the Federal Government that we took for granted. I guess it's true that you didn't know what you got till it's gone.
I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

I can't stop thinking about this post and the reaction to it.

For the most part, I agree with Cuban here, and I disagree with most of the responses. Just swap "AI models" for "search engines", and it's obvious that this is irrefutable.

But I think there's an important nuance that got passed over.
If you have zero education, but learn how to ask AI models the right questions , in many jobs you will be able to outperform someone with an advanced degree, but who is unwilling to use Large Language Models.

Just takes a smartphone, curiosity to experiment and a mindset to learn.

It's apparent that the Democrats really don't understand the talent they have in @petebuttigieg.bsky.social . If they did we would see him on news and socials every day.
This is so smart. @petebuttigieg.bsky.social , thoughts ?

And if you see this. A reminder. This is not Twitter. You can engage here and have thoughtful discussions !

We all look forward to reading your thoughts
I keep saying Dems need to do a daily briefing on Capitol Hill and fill the void, fact check the WH. Hire Pete Buttigeig and give him a staff to do this.
