The idea that the mind can exist "beyond the brain" is not new, and it has been proposed and defended by countless philosophers.

We have, however, stopped considering it a serious idea because it seems to be incompatible with everything we have learned about the brain, through neuroscience.

Ask a physicist how quantum entanglement occurs but add two rules:

1) they are not allowed to explain how it is calculated.
