The final paper is literally 5 pages. I suspect the whole damn class is busywork to get to require 2 classes final semester instead of just our internship class and therefore charge the tuition.

Which OK if you are an undergrad. Or a first year grad student. But the LAST SEMESTER of a program you shouldn't get there without those skills. We've had to do just as complex papers in other classes without the hand holding which is why it is so WEIRD.

Yeah, going to seminary at SSW Daniels was a bit of a patron saint and very much held up (to our very white class) as the expectation.

That is NOT what this is. This is believing there are things MORE important than your own safety, like caring for your neighbors, for those who are vulnerable. It has zero to do with any possible afterlife and everything to do with the world we want to create for those living in it.

for something they developmentally cannot actually control or have the capacity to understand. AND lots of Christians would disagree because we are a wildly schizoid tradition that probably at this point should be considered a whole bunch of different religions to avoid confusion.

is absolutely considered sufficient. AND if we are following our teachings PROPERLY that God's forgiveness is given freely out of love not out of our actions (our actions of repentance/change etc are in RESPONSE to God's first forgiving). In the end we'd say God isn't going to hold a kid responsible
