I'm not saying the Australian Treasurer has no idea how the housing rental market works, but I'm not not saying that.

If you're wanting to FOI a federal minister's office about something, you should do it now.

If the current government loses the election or if there's a reshuffle, the documents will suddenly no longer be a "document of a minister".

Rex Patrick has been fighting against this but govt is appealing.

What if that price was FAR LESS than a million?

What if groups like Sportsbet - which controls nearly half of the entire sports betting market in Australia - was getting favourable ad policy while donating $88,000 per year?

This appalling, undemocratic backroom stitch up of electoral laws by the two major parties shows just how utterly terrified they are of the independents. Only bother with bipartisanship when it’s about lining their own pockets.

Everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to live. The current housing crisis is making life hard for many. My plan for a $2 billion Regional Housing Infrastructure Fund will provide a clear focus on the challenges of regional Aust and support for infrastructure to boost housing. bit.ly/40QAanR

As a formerly committed ‘individual action’ person, until I realised the billionaires were using us an excuse to do sweet FA themselves, can I just say, ALL OF THIS!! ⬇️

People keep saying we only need to eat one of the billionaires and the rest will fall in line, and that's probably true, but I think it's also worth remembering we COULD eat them all

How much dis you pay for your last Virgin flight? Their CEO just settled on a $17 million holiday home in Noosa. On top of her $5.2m pad in Teneriffe, Brisbane. Happy holidays.

Yes! THANK YOU! This has annoyed the shit out of me for YEARS!!! (I love the show but JFC.) And less than 3 hours for BREAD??? In uncontrolled temps? Eff all the way off.
Why isn’t the Great British baking show in a temperature controlled environment? Why should the cold or hot impact their cooking, they don’t usually cook outside! It’s not fair and you could change it easi.. [i get dragged away by Paul Hollywood’s security]

If there’s anything I’ve learned from an Albanese government it’s that I lose respect for people who are hypocrites and liars a lot faster than people whose politics I disagree with.

“I’m not thinking about the politics.” Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! They legit think we are idiots.

The PM says, "When it comes to the wellbeing of young people ... I want Australia to be one of the leading nations in the world."

Spare me. One in six kids live in poverty but instead of raising the rate or building public housing Labor's ramming through a social media ban. We see you.

'Age assurance' and 'age verification' are not the same thing.

'Age assurance' is guesswork. It's 'over 18' self report buttons, it's face analysis, it's bullshit. Doesn't work. Never has, most likely never will.

'Age verification' works.

Age verification = ID verification.

My deeply unpopular opinion is that having ‘politics’ as a ‘round’ is the actual problem. The ‘gallery’ shouldn’t exist. Specialist rounds reporters should cover the ‘political’ aspects of the policy discussion. We’d all be better off.
Feels like NBN debates again when tech beat journalists were wishing the gallery journalists would ask more informed questions about this stuff.
