It's so hard not to respond to people like that with "well, sounds like you're a shit sucking loser and I guess you're committed to that by pivoting to AI". Like I firmly believe that ANYONE can become a better artist than they currently are. Yes, even if you "can't draw a stick figure". BUT -
Honestly this is an excuse.
I know plenty of people who are not “naturally gifted” who do art.
It requires effort to learn. I feel you did not approach it correctly or think things happen over night.
Also hard work and skill is not “naturally gifted” as that undermines their efforts to draw.

Arguing with my friend over their use of chat gpt instead of doing their own research. Their defense is that they take care of animals and are vegetarian so they've done enough good for them and I just feel like that mentality from left leaning folks is how we got here in the first place.
