Was talking to my MD spouse about the Tylenol-autism kerfuffle. Her take was insightful. Now, pregnant women with fevers will be afraid to take Tylenol to stop their fevers. And ironically, it's the fevers that might be responsible for fetal neurological maldevelopment.

I've said it before. Our nation is not paying enough attention, politically or financially, to the demographic cliff upon whose edge we sit. Both elder care and increasing the working-age population have to be priorities. Immigration is a dirty word these days, but is the best solution.
