“there are a dozen or so trans kids playing high school sports, this is not an issue that affects you and its time we start asking why the guy who has repeatedly bragged about being sexually attracted to children wants to look at your kids genitals” is an entirely true thing you can say!

Ex-farm worker here.

We need to talk about this whole "But a living wage for farm workers would spike the cost of food!" thing.

Not true AT ALL.

Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.

The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.

At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

Under Reagan's tax cuts, the average tax cut for the top 1% was 68x larger than the average cut for middle-class households.

Under Bush's tax cuts, it was 16x larger.

And under Trump, 36x larger.

The GOP has always governed for the privileged few.

According to a new report, nearly 27% of homes sold in Q1 of 2025 were bought by real estate investors — the highest share in at least five years.

If we want to make housing affordable for working people, we must get Wall Street out of our homes. https://youtu.be/q9TOGxDJ0TE?si=vGkgsj8jyHBFtUyW

Your Medicaid is cut. Your health insurance is not safe. Your tips are still taxed. You pay the tariffs. There’s no trade deals. No wars have ended. Gas isn’t $2. Eggs aren’t cheaper. There isn’t $10 trillion in investment. The Epstein files are buried.

It’s. All. Lies.

All the time.

When they go out, wear a tactical vest, mask and wrap around sunglasses.

Friends- it is 2025. Can we stop with the term "vaccine skeptic" to describe people openly hostile to vaccines and whose views are not based in evidence? That is not skepticism. That is denialism.

It took The Tribune about two months to analyze “Utah Fits All” voucher data.
Here’s what we learned about how Utahns are spending that taxpayer money.
Here’s how Utah parents are spending their kids’ school vouchers, The Tribune found
Over the course of the school voucher program’s first eight months, Utah families collectively used their $8,000 vouchers on more than 7,300 different vendors, including schools and businesses. The Tribune breaks down how each dollar was spent.

I just heard that the Bureau of Labor and Statistics has been cut to the point that they can no longer gather data across the country. So the current inflation numbers may not be accurate. I was wondering why inflation is less than 3 percent
