When introducing a new system it’s very sensible to look at other systems and learn what went well and what didn’t.

It would be stupid not to learn from, and not repeat, the mistakes of Aadhaar.

You see, I find it intensely irritating when people say that Labour has no plan, or that they are breaking their manifesto promises. In terms of actual delivery, the Government is doing exactly what was laid out in the manifesto.

Yep, and they’re actually delivering fairly rapidly.

A significant number of bills have been laid before Parliament.

Some will take time to fully come into force (like recruiting new teachers), but the progress is clear
