Ron DeSantis stranded drivers at a bridge with no warning just to stop rainbow colors from appearing on it.
1. Florida banned cities from lighting up bridges rainbow colors for Pride.

So the people of Jacksonville did it themselves using flashlights and gels.

They opened the drawbridge to block them.

So they marched to a different bridge.

What we are seeing is media reorienting itself to be messengers from the ownership class to the subjects of the regime not journalism or news as we understood it.

It’s a travesty about the lack of national news coverage that the closure of Job Corp centers is receiving. Underprivileged youth between 18-24 learn a trade and job opportunities upon graduation. My brother attended and was hired by Amtrak after graduation, a job he still holds 37 yrs later.

Cop City Is Everywhere
The movement to stop Cop City was one of the most important social struggles of the Biden era. Its trajectory tells us a lot about the challenges we confront today.

Today is also a fantastic reminder that Liberals feel it is important to wish our war criminals good health, in light of the fucking genocide he played a role in enabling, funding, and lying to the public about, THAT IS STILL ONGOING.
Today is unfortunately a good reminder of just how depraved many Trump supporters are. It should be the easiest thing in the world to just wish someone well in light of a devastating health diagnosis. That they can't even meet that very low bar says a lot about their character.

Look at how easily the NYT is able to assign agency and blame for violence without a shred of obfuscation when an Israeli is killed.

Hamas is even dragged in to the headline even though it happened in the West Bank and couldn’t have been them
An Israeli woman, on the way to a hospital to give birth, was shot and killed in the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Wednesday. Israeli officials called the attack an act of terrorism, and Hamas praised it as a “heroic operation,” but no Palestinian militant group took immediate responsibility.

If you bomb a hospital filled with patients it's unambiguously a war crime, but if you say there was a known enemy combatant inside at the time, that's still unambiguously a war crime, like seriously, what are we even doing here
