One night, I dreamed I was walking along processed American cheese with the Kong.

During my low periods, I could see only one set of
footprints. "Why, Kong, have you not been there for me?"

The Kong replied, "The times when you have seen only one set
of footprints, Pauline, is when I carried you."

I was four and on a family vacation to Puerto Rico, and our hotel lobby had an arcade fighting cabinet I played with my dad. I immediately asked for one, and to my slight disappointment he bought me an N64 instead. I'll never learn who you were, hotel fighting game, but I'll never forget you either.
