I can hear this in the sound, tone, and cadence of his voice.

Exactly. Any issues I may have with any Trek (or any other IP, for that matter) are my own. And they're more to do with retcons and possible plot holes that likely only really matter to my own Head Canon, anyway.

Tell me a story with someone wearing some version of the Delta. That's all I want.
The best complaint I'll ever have is people trying to use my voice to legitimise their #StarTrek issues.

Yay, you feel my voice has worth, thank you!

Now, don't try and coerce me into shitting on modern Trek.

You don't like it? No worries! You want me to say you're right? Nope. Opinion. 🖖

A much more succinct version of my own recent long-winded diatribe.
1) Engage with casual voters on your social media platform.
2) Support independent media.
3) Support pro-democracy voices in the traditional press.
4) Volunteer with state and local political groups.

And now that my moment of seriousness has passed ...

I think a bluesky post should be called a "croon", because bluesky makes me think of The Wild Blue Yonder and cowboys under the big sky. And what do cowboys do? They croon.

I will also accept a "yodel".

1/ A brief moment of real talk before my inability to keep from making light of very serious matters wins out again.

Full disclosure before I start Canuck-splaining where I'm coming from: I am not an American myself, but plenty of people who I care a lot about are.

"But surely the leopards won't eat MY face!"

Seems like some folks to the south of me voted for a crash course in modern economics. I have some concerns about the teaching materials, though. I don't think this chapter on tariffs is factually correct, and i find the purple crayon hard on the eyes.

@cczerneda.bsky.social I keep seeing posts full of pedantry and semantics about whether listening to an audiobook is the same as reading it—or something—when everybody knows the correct terminology—whether your using your eyes, ears, or fingertips—is 'feeding an author's work to your mind grapes.'
