Honestly, if they release a "sanitized" version of the files then it just opens the door to leaks. and leaks where there's an actual cover-up are devastating

word of warning for my fellow VA data nerds: If you're parsing VA's results be careful of which counties have allocated their AV/IP-EV into precincts and who hasn't. They'll eventually all get there, but there's a mishmash rn and your precinct analysis might get thrown off big-time
