Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

ICE took the witnesses to today's murder of Alex Pretti into custody!

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

That makes sense: the culture Trump always creates, when he can, is one of strict hierarchy and unquestionable authority. So, that’s the culture *inside* the White House, and they’ve all gotten so used to it that they can’t understand the rest of us.

i think this attitude — that all opposition is illegitimate and nothing we do can be questioned— is probably pervasive in the white house and helps explain why they keep making terrible political choices

I said this last time but their real position is “if you disagree with us we can kill you.”

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

MAGA is ICE. ICE murdered Alex Pretti, a VA nurse, on the street in Minneapolis. They did it for him exercising his constitutionally guaranteed rights.
