I meant me and my partner but as you can imagine i wasnt typing under the best circumstances. We have a temporary place to sleep but as so far are just trying to find something actually permanent. Please lend us ur support because we are both doing incredibly bad. this has been so traumatic
So my partner had to flee our apartment last night due to threats of gun violence directed at us by another tenant. We literally have just our clothes on our back phones and wallets we had to check into a hotel and honestly are terrified.

this still happens in canada btw. it did not stop in the 2000s.
This has a parallel. Into the 2000s, police in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan would take Indigenous folks they found outside late at night on "starlight tours," driving them beyond the city limits, and dumping them there. They'd often freeze to death trying to get home.
