I’m going with Terminator. Everything thing after 2 is such a mess. I can’t think of another franchise where every movie for four or five in a row COMPLETELY ignores the one that came before like it just didn’t happen.

I think I'm gonna go with Rocky. Rarely do even endless lousy sequels to a good horror film ripple through spacetime until people forget the first one was actually good, but the Rocky sequels did that, even the better ones.
