I really enjoyed this video! This is still my favorite comic of all time, and I read a lot of great titles recently.
Watching this excellence again, Fraction and Lieber discuss making the magic happen with Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen. The hidden powerhouse here is @matthewbogart.bsky.social, who is phenomenal at editing and producing this piece.

My good friend (fellow Eisner judge) Rocco is also quoted in this article. It’s a great read.
TCAF's own @librarylandia.bsky.social is in @publisherswkly.bsky.social, sharing how comics are uniquely effective at depicting grief, loss, and trauma.

Plus, hear from @conundrumpress.bsky.social's Katarina Thorsen, whose "Salt Green Death" will be at TCAF!

Had a great experience rolling in Chewbacchus last night! The crowds were so fun and hyped to see us! I saw lots of library cards and apps on phones and multiple times people started chants "LIB-RAR-Y! LIB-RAR-Y!" 📚 #skybrarians #chewbacchus2025

@amlibraryassoc.bsky.social are the slides from this year's #ALAYMA going to be available anywhere? The livestream didn't stay up on the award committees names for very long, so I missed seeing some friends' names.

There was a good showing of graphic novels recognized at #ALAYMA this year, did any #libcomix people compile a list as the announcements were going out? @libcomix.bsky.social

Got my black eyed peas cooking on the stove for dinner tonight, had some cabbage salad at lunch. It’s already an awful start to the new year, so I’m taking comfort in tradition.

I implore libraries to simply refuse to purchase anything from this "publisher."
I’m horrified by Spines but I very much enjoyed the way Matilda has written this piece about their so-called disruption of the publishing industry with a tech-washed pay-to-publish model, especially the lack of sales data 👀

Another #skybrarian 📚 notice! All ALA members are eligible.

I applied and didn’t get my project chosen in 2019, but it was a great experience working with a colleague to fill out the application and we probably would have implemented our program anyway if 2020 hadn’t been what it was.
Applications for the 2025 Will Eisner Graphic Novel Grants for Libraries are now open! These grants recognize libraries for their growth of graphic literature and award funds graphic novel collection development and programming. More info and apply: buff.ly/4exe0e1
