Not a word from the FBI or any other DOJ component that I’ve seen.
Noticing the stark absence of agents of ICE, CBP, or any U.S. law enforcement agency standing up right now to say shooting people exercising their rights is unacceptable.

Labour councillor thinks that the murder of a woman - with plans that political parties in the UK are specifically looking to emulate - shouldn't be political.

Labour have no intention in every challenging the far right - which is why they'll be next to follow unless we stand up to them.
How low can Polanski go? Weaponising the killing of the mother of a 6 year old girl, that’s how low.

Leadership clearly isn’t a Green Party strong point.
Trump started it.

Reform and Tories are at it too.

And Labour already heading in that direction.

All cruel, potentially deadly and does nothing to fix the cost of living crisis.

Absolutely vile.

In the 6th largest economy, 103000 people died in poverty in 2024.

120,000 died in fuel poverty, couldn't afford adequate heating.

Ethnic minorities, pensioners, single working age adults more likely to die in poverty.

Poverty and death sentence is a political choice as govts appease the rich.

This is the guy who had to resign as Keir Starmer's Chief of Political Strategy only three months ago after he was exposed having made racist and sexually explicit jokes about Diane Abbott. His author photo is the same one that was widely used by papers when reporting that very story.

The political/media class have absolutely fucked it here, by refusing to concede an inch and forcing their demands upon everyone. Now the blunt choice is: admit what you did, apologise and concede, or keep the foot on the accelerator for actual fascism. You can see who is pushing for the latter.

The whole point of the Starmer project was to grind home once and for all that Britain can never be better than this, and anyone who tries to improve society somewhat will be *fucking annihilated* by all these people, together. It’s shit, it’s supposed to be shit and if you don’t like it, fuck off.
In today's episode of Everything Is America Now, here's Starmer's disgraced ex-director of political strategy blaming Labour's failures on a Brit version of the US Deep State, made up of NGOs, activists, lawyers & regulators.

If this sounds like far rightism à la Cummings, that's because it 100% is

America right now is the pure example of why this is so utterly disastrous. The Trump admin lies about what it’s doing; the press repeats those ovious lies, then assesses whether the stated goals will succeed and who is doing well or badly, and on and on they go in neverending downward spiral.
You hear this clearly on papers’ and magazines’ podcasts, where the whole job is to repeat whatever important people have said this week and analyse whether they are succeeding or failing, and who is up or down. Is this stuff true, is it good or bad, why is it like this at all? Who knows. Who cares!

Hi. Court reporter here again. I can confirm about a third of local cases I see are domestic abuse of women and girls. Where do you think the men start? And almost every columnist tells you to look elsewhere.
This is the second story in three days The Times has carried arguing against misogyny lessons in schools, which it describes as "some weird feminist attack on male children".

As long as it doesn't affect them and it isn't done in a crass way they'll happily tolerate any horror.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Britain does not punish crimes by its elite, including genocide. Britain arms up and punishes the fuck out of *people who oppose genocide*, because the state is 100% behind that and, via proxies, it makes very sure that celebrities know their careers will be forfeit if they open their mouths.
The public inquiry into the Iraq War was as damning as it’s possible to be within this system. The parliamentary report on Libya tore the government a new arse. Both of them were instantly thrown in the bin and never mentioned again, in favour of inviting the culprits on TV and giving them peerages.

Cruelty is anhedonic. It rarely delivers the euphoria promised because, in the abstract, what feels righteous and joyful inevitably reveals itself to be sordid and small. Then it's "No not like that". "No not enough". "No the real battle, the forever war to make this feel good starts now". Forever.
Note how these awful people are getting exactly the exclusions of children that they demanded and *that still isn’t enough for them*: they demand everyone be delighted about it and kiss their arses for being brilliant.

The left smashed, their Competent Sensible politicians won by a landslide last year and have a huge majority and the policies they dreamed of implemented.

And the result is endless horror.
