hd2d isnt the worst thing in the world but man i just can't get into it. its a shame too cause a lot of the envs still look like nice enough low poly settings, but the games just do not feel cohesive. and, at least the ones from squeenix dont feel they've evolved. not that they need to be-

Recorded a speed model for a friend and thought I should share how I generally approach modeling low-poly characters, the video is sped up x10 (original length was 30 minutes), hope this is helps someone in need!

RAILS HAVE BEEN SMOOTHED OUT!

Back when development started, I built a makeshift rail system that relied on segmented pieces. That system honestly survived for much longer than it should have, we're using splines now and they already feel so much better!

Yuuku preserved King's Field Mobile, a previously-lost King's Field i-mode game. A retelling of the PS1 original, it has different map layouts and an auto-map. For a real-time 3D 2004 keitai game, it's very ambitious. There's already an English patch too!
