JUST IN: Mike Johnson plans to swear in Rep.-elect Matt Van Epps on Thursday — less than two days after he won the TN-07 special election.

As a reminder, it took Johnson 50 days to swear in Democratic Rep. Adelita Grijalva.

Brazil’s former Dictator Bolsonaro will begin serving his 27 year prison sentence for plotting a coup in his country.

If only Merrick Garland had gotten the job done when we had the chance and sent the orange felon and his insurrectionists to jail where they belong. Scumbag.

Labour’s Employment Rights Bill - a rare effort to address inequality of power.

“A large majority of voters backing Nigel Farage also want stronger working rights. Yet he and his MPs voted against every item in the bill.”

It’s under fire from left and right – but Labour’s workers' rights bill is a huge achievement | Polly Toynbee
It makes no sense for union leaders to cry betrayal when it will be their members who benefit from these sorely needed reforms, says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee

Farage rarely turned up to vote when he was an MEP.

But, he did turn up to vote against the EU’s anti-Russia interference motion.

He said it was a “hoax”.

He voted against strengthening Europe’s defences against foreign interference.

Why?
