Journalism needs a new style guide for these times. As a start: if the basic material facts of the situation don’t align whatsoever with the official claim, you don’t have to repeat that claim. You are not mandated to cover the lies meant to obscure the facts, only the facts themselves.

Was talking to a Chicago friend today about the federal government’s invasion. They said to me “I know you told me what this was like but I could not have conceived how it felt. What it’s like to experience it.” And I’m so afraid that’s what it will be like for everyone as they roll out their mob.

I think that goes under the grift and corruption goal.

- Leave no one behind as the world changes (Create good govt work for various transitions, paid re-training programs, fix the information ecosystem, free college tuition, university incentives to change their operating models)

I feel like the winning planks for any politician would be:
- make a good life affordable (medicare for all, national child and eldercare, etc)
- remove grift and corruption esp. elite grift and corruption from our systems (ban stock trading in congress, overturn citizens united, etc)

He has been since college, lots of girls knew not to be in a room alone with him when he was at USC.

This is not going to go well for him.

It is wild to see how many elected officials are unwilling to hold a boundary.
