The govt should facilitate what we can't do individually & companies don't do. Think food safety, public education, roads & bridges. The ACA essentially ended denials & price gouging for preconditions. Gave under 26 yo & uninsured a shot at having healthcare + much more-

This is very concerning.
No President gets to dictate what schools teach. No college should be forced to support any political agenda or risk losing funding for cancer research.
 
It’s well past time for Republicans to join us—grow a spine—and oppose this latest illegal action to control our schools.

Went ahead and updated my map of cities with higher crime than D.C. to accommodate the two new states from the Deep South who are sending troops to the capital. In the five states there are 64 cities, home to 1.7 million people, that had more crime in 2024 than D.C.
