Reminder: ICE’s budget has not been renewed — the House voted, but not the Senate — It will take 10 Democratic votes to stop it

They can’t fathom that people have come together because they care about their community, their neighbors, and their nation.

Not because they’re getting paid.

A total lapse in humanity and imagination.

What a sad & blatant lie.

@samsteindc.bsky.social reports that the physician who raced to help yesterday swears in his affidavit that the ICE officers were counting the bullet holes rather than rendering aid.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Chris Murphy: "This is really scary because what Bovino essentially told you is that if you just happen to be present when they are undertaking an operation, if you pull out your phone to record it, the use of force against you is justified. That is not true, it's not what the law says."

When ordinary people are literally putting themselves in front of armed goons in armoured trucks it really makes clear that all those craven m/billionaire CEOs like Tim Cook should never know another days peace and should be shunned by all decent people till the day they die
This administration is cooked. Literally no one is scared of them.

Nice try, but we remember who put these vaccine deniers in positions of power… and who, once they proved utterly unfaithful to their promises, are still keeping them there.
Sen Cassidy: “Claiming that risk from vaccines is greater than the threat from disease has led to highest rate of measles in decades. Undermining faith in polio vaccine will lead to paralyzed children. What others are doing will be blamed on President Trump. Unfair but true.”

I don’t see too many people talking about what an incredible accomplishment it was for MN officials and lawyers to get those affidavits and that motion written and filed and to get a Trump appointed judge to issue a TRO against the feds to stop them from destroying evidence - all in the same day.

This statement seeming anything other than incoherent is an indictment of our political culture.

Tim Walz: "What side do you want to be on? The side of an all-powerful federal government that can kill, injure, menace, and kidnap its citizens off the streets, or the side of a nurse at the VA hospital who died bearing witness - the side of a mother whose last words were 'I'm not mad at you.'"

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.
