While I was in CO, I climbed the Manitou Incline by myself. I met a girl along the way who was the same age as my daughter, and showing signs of altitude sickness, so I stayed with her in case she needed help. Met a 3rd lady going alone, so we all summited together. Took the Barr Trail down

I went to CO at the end of June with my older sister for a family reunion. We stayed with our cousin who is like a 4th sister to us since we grew up seeing each other fairly often. It was time much needed to be active and reconnect with family we haven’t seen in quite a while

Summer has been good so far: biking and paddling more than hiking, but I did do some in CO at the end of June. I’ll make a separate post about that. Having a work/life balance is hard for me - I miss working part time and just taking off whenever I want lol Somehow, I’m making it work
