Canada. 🇨🇦 🍁Don’t be fooled by this grifter.

He is a danger to Canada and the values we hold dear.

❤️🇨🇦 forever.

It’s very clear that the Poilievre strategy is to keep his base, absorb the PPC voters and pray for a split between the Liberals and NDP as a path to power. That’s why he’s not trying to draw moderates. He’s got nothing to lose now and he’s all in on division.

Let’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing:

BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors.

AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company.

That’s not fair. And fairness is a Canadian value.

This issue disgusts me. The speed cameras are a deterrent. Speed limits are in place for safety reasons. Why is the Premier of Ontario against protecting citizens. And after the Auditor General's assessment of the skills development funds, the Ontario Government shouldn't preach about cash grabs!

You work hard for every dollar you earn. You pay your taxes, but expect they’ll go toward the services & infrastructure we all rely on every day. And then you find out your money’s gone into Doug Ford’s slush fund to hand out to his friends. This corrupt government has to go.

Every day it's a new corruption scandal with Ford. So many I can't count them all. Yet name two things Ford has completed in his 8 years as Premier - what has he accomplished other than piles of debt, no housing, broken schools, hospitals and highways. His wealthy backers are wealthier, that's it.

I’ll jump off and roll down a hill like they do in the movies if I have to.

24% of revenue from TO's speed cameras goes to the province, 41% to Vision Zero initiatives. But Premier Ford has no interest in funding evidence-based public programs — or even the province itself.

His government exists to protect insiders and shitheads speeding in school zones.

Yes, everyone needs to take their guns to go grocery shopping. This is another example of how out of control the US is becoming. This certainly won't improve safety, quite the opposite. So very many reasons to avoid ever going to the US. The world sees you for what you have/are becoming.

Just because you say that "we know they don't work" doesn't make it true. Quite the opposite in fact. Speed cameras DO work! And it's not a cash grab - if you don't speed you don't get fined. This mak has a brick for a head.

#cdnpoli because his friends are tired of paying his fines

WATCH - I ask Premier Ford why he saying “No” to 21 Ontario mayors who are calling for a compromise on speed cameras. They are asking for them to remain in school zones, but to only operate during school hours, and to only ticket drivers going well over the limit. #cdnpoli

Yes! Just another great example of how we are so different from the US.

When this first arose I kinda had some sympathy for these farmers. However, with each passing day/revelation it has become really bad vibe. Dodgy would be an understatement.

They don’t seem to understand that the reason for our boycott is multifaceted.

Yes, it’s the tariffs and the hateful rhetoric being spread about Canada. But it’s also that we see what’s happening in the US. So many of us can’t, in good conscience, support a nation that is harming its own.

The ONLY reason for a province to use the notwithstanding clause is if it’s about to trample on a group’s charter rights. Get rid of the fucking clause
mondoab.bsky.social
Shocker.

"Premiers of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia call on federal government to reconsider"

Human rights need to be inalienable, otherwise they are not rights.
selek437.bsky.social
No one should be able to wipe out rights with the not withstanding clause! It should be removed completely.
