When I traveled in China I had to get a letter from my editor confirming that I wasn’t on assignment and wouldn’t be reporting while in the country. I was also advised not to travel with pens or notebooks.

Think about this….. how many fire flies did you see last summer? I saw a few but not like when I was growing up and the field behind my house were full of them. Pesticides and climate change are destroying them. Future generations will see them only in pictures.😔
