Why can GPs not just send you for an xray? Why do I have to go see a physiotherapist when I already know it’s not muscular? I’ve got arthritis in my ankle, my knees (had 1 replaced) and hands, I think I know joint pain vs muscle! They did this with my knee & took so long needed replacement!!

Got a "no" from an indie publisher, but they delivered it with such kind and supportive words that I actually feel good. Called me a "very talented writer", said there'd be good agents interested in what I'm doing, and suggested three more indie presses! How nice is that?

This is still my advice: Become a writer anyway. Fuck it, do it, it won't save you, but it's still a beautiful dream to write novels and short stories and poems and mingle with other dreamers and make art and laugh in the face of death. And writing is constant death. Live más.
